UK Traveling – London

It has been a life long desire to travel to the UK, mostly England, France, Italy, Rome, Greece, and Scotland. I traced my family tree as far as Glasgow Scotland and ties to two Native American nations Cherokee and Apache I am very interested in my family history. My mother’s side of the family came to America as stowe aways on a ship also the Apache side, my dad’s side came from Scotland and most all the men fought in many wars and included a few prisoners of war, he is the Cherokee side.

Almeada Breeden- Full-Blood Cherokee woman.

I can not remember her name but she is Apache

I’m doing a bit of research to see where is the most budget friendly yet best place to visit in the UK! So far this is what i have found.

London:

The capital of England and the United Kingdom, is a 21st-century city with history stretching back to Roman times.
Tourist attractions include Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London, Coca Cola London Eye and Tower Bridge.
Flights will range in price depending on where you are coming from. From JFK to LGW is $385 I will leave the links to cheap flights and hotels down at the bottom so you can check from your area.
Hotels will only accommodate a family room for 2 adults and 4 children so if you’re like me and have 5 you may have to upgrade to a multiple family room. Rooms for 6 are going from $181-$652 depend on which hotel (I’ll leave a link)

London has a number of free attractions also from museums to park life! If you’re going to travel with the little ones take them to see a dinosaur!

Like art/sculptures visit some of the public sculptures like:

Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins’s Crystal Palace Dinosaurs, Yinka Shonibare Nelson’s Ship in a Bottle and more. Are you a Harry Potter fan? Yep they have a tour just for you, sadly it has an admission fee!

Kensington Gardens has no admittance fee, Are you a Peter Pan fan? Kensington Gardens has just the thing for you! There are a few Peter themed areas such as the pet cemetery, Peter Pan statue, Princess Diana memorial Park (it has a pirate ship), The author of Peter Pan, JM Barrie’s home, and the Tombstones.

There is so much more! Planning a trip check out the links below!
